Three stones. Three different voices.

A freshwater pearl, a rainbow sapphire and an iolite, sit together across an open double band that wraps and crosses rather than closes. The pearl rests at one end, round and quiet. Beside it, the rainbow sapphire, pale and shifting. The iolite anchors the other end, deep blue, long and still. Three stones at different heights, different angles, sharing the same band without quite agreeing on terms.

Three materials that have nothing in common except that, here, they are inseparable.
