House of Jasmin is the home of considered, contemporary jewellery rooted in the traditions of the past. We believe that truly beautiful jewellery should never be saved for special occasions, it should be lived in, layered, and loved every day. Our pieces are designed to be worn alongside existing heirlooms, passed down through generations and remembered long after the moment they were made for has passed.
"In some ways, jewellery design feels like coming full circle. After decades of working at enormous scale, I've looped back to something deeply personal, to design in its purest form. Growing up surrounded by antiques, being dragged around auction rooms and stately homes as a child, it shaped the way I see objects and the stories they carry. In jewellery, the only real limitations are your imagination and your eye. That is an extraordinary thing to discover."

Rooted in a lifelong love of the antique and a designer's instinct for the contemporary, House of Jasmin was built on Ric's belief that beautiful things should be made slowly, by hand, and built to last. Ric grew up in the North East of England in a house full of antiques, spending weekends at auction rooms, antique fairs and stately homes. That world never left him, many of those childhood pieces still fill his home in Abu Dhabi today, alongside the mid-1600s mansion house he and his wife found in England, a building so steeped in history it seemed to have been waiting for them.
Every piece is conceived by Ric and brought to life by his partner Ajith, who has spent thirty years practising traditional craftsmanship methods that are becoming genuinely rare. Ric sources every gemstone personally, not the obvious stones, but teal tourmalines, amber garnets, rainbow moonstones and spinels chosen with the same eye that has been looking closely at beautiful things since childhood. The result is jewellery that could not have been made for anyone else, which is precisely why it will be kept.
